Ice cream is always good. Except when it gets freezer burn, then it isn’t good.

I remember getting something at Baskin Robbins years ago that I loved. I think it was “Gold Medal Ribbon?” Something like that. It had chocolate and it had caramel swirls in it. It was my favorite.

I like strawberry ice cream but not the part when you find a strawberry in it because it’s like biting into an ice cube and gives you brain freeze and the texture just shouldn’t be like that in ice cream. Crunch ice. But strawberry milkshakes are the shiz because it all gets blended like it should have always been.

Chocolate ice cream is great of course and it’s my go-to when I’m able to eat ice cream.

Cookies n’ cream is the exception to the texture rule. Its texture is messed up and it’s still good. But I still think it’s better to just have a package of Oreos and a glass of milk, tbh, but it has its place on the ice cream shelf.

Gelato is delicious but it is not icecream.

There’s a good gelato place, at least I think it’s still there, on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica in the middle of the road. It’s a little overpriced but it’s also wonderful.

Ice cream is better than gelato though.

The best ice cream I’ve ever had was at Superior Dairy, in Visalia/Hanford area. It’s the best ice cream on the planet. Like really, it is.

Last opinion about ice cream is that it’s better in a crunchy (not the soggy kind) waffle cone or a sugar cone, and eaten outdoors, and eaten with other people. It’s also acceptable to eat it in any other format including bowl and directly out of the carton. Sugar cones are good.
