The kids and A went to church in the morning, then we had an egg hunt. My parents and brother came over :).
Made a turkey. It turkied.
I tried out a new recipe for vanilla pound cake. I managed to bake it, at least part of the time, with the oven off, so no one really knows how long I baked it for, but I just kept going until it was done, and I was told good things which was nice to hear.
We also played “I Doubt It,” which is a very fun game, and then “Go Fish” with the kids. My trash-talk may have overshot a bit as I managed to utterly lose at both.
Others had coffee and I had a cup of green tea 🙂
(I’m really, really thankful we had this time. Really thankful! And all of us together, too. It’s been a while.)
